This collection serves as a physical reminder of the power within us. Using the Human figure as a modern day amuletic form, the collection instills a sense of comfort and empowerment. I was inspired to research symbols, materials, and usage of historic amulets in order to create each piece in this body of work. By emphasizing touch and sound I have created pieces that constantly remind the wearer that they are present and that they are powerful.
